Description

The Grove development is located within the Cultural District of Saadiyat Island, situated between three iconic museums: the Louvre, Guggenheim, and Sheikh Zayed National Museum. Plot 3, which is one of the plots within the Grove development, faces the Sheikh Zayed Museum, with the Main Plaza serving as a crucial link between the heart of the development and the promenade featuring a playful water feature. The landscape scope of work is divided into two main categories: public and private areas, based on accessibility. Public areas encompass drop-offs to the building lobbies, basement 1, lower and upper ground floors open to visitors, while private areas such as pool terraces, common terraces, and penthouses are exclusively accessible to residents.

The landscape design adopts a minimalistic approach, emphasizing romance and tranquility. The Main Plaza, or the connector space, features free-flowing organic forms to maintain unobstructed views towards the Sheikh Zayed Museum, creating an environment for observation, social interaction, and gatherings. Drawing inspiration from the building lines, the design of the sub-plazas offers smaller pocket spaces for relaxation and enjoying serene views.

The design proposals were crafted in close collaboration with engineering and architectural disciplines, integrating requirements for water features, artwork, signage, lighting, security, roadways/traffic, and Estidama/sustainability principles.
